School-based Curriculum

Built on the EDB English Language Curriculum Guide (Primary 1–6) and delivered through our school-based General English booklets, our curriculum makes learning clear, purposeful and immediately usable in real life.

Tiered Learning

Learning tasks are tiered to cater for learner diversity, with an extended version for more able classes, so that every student is appropriately challenged and can progress at his or her own pace.

Note-taking & Self-directed Learning

Note-taking skills are explicitly taught in a designated unit at every level each year. Together with self-checklists and reflection tasks, students learn to plan, organise and review their own learning — a key skill for secondary school.

Reading Culture

A Reading Workshop is held in every cycle, supported by our Home Reading Programme and Dolch Sight Words training. Students choose their own books and set personal reading goals, moving from "learning to read" to "reading to learn".

An English-rich Environment

The English Wonderland, English Ambassadors, English Talent Show and NET-supported activities give students daily opportunities to speak English with joy and confidence.

Learning with AI

One AI-supported unit is arranged each term at every level, alongside explicit teaching of digital and AI literacy — because AI ignites ideas, but students own the learning.

Values & National Identity

Positive values, Chinese culture and national identity are naturally infused into our themes, reading texts and learning tasks, nurturing students who are confident in English and rooted in their own culture.
